Dorothy Tovar lives in Granite Bay, CA with her husband and their three spunky dogs; Mr. Puppers, Gretal, and the newest addition, Barky Tails! Dorothy has a love for all animals and is passionate about animal rescue. One day, while chopping up carrots for an impatient Mr. Puppers, Dorothy was reminiscing about all the adventures her husband and Mr. Puppers had been on together. As she gently placed a few carrots into Mr. Puppers mouth to halt the eager barks, the inspiration for Barky Tails came to her. After Mr. Puppers raced off to hide a few carrots, Dorothy sat down, put pen to paper and brought Barky Tails story to life!
